Catch Basins/Area Drains

Surface drains or area drains (also known as catch basins) are typically installed in low areas of your lawn to help collect surface water that tends to pool when it rains. Surface drain installations are usually complemented by some grading work to better move the surrounding areas surface water towards the new drains location. We offer installation of prefabricated and custom made surface drains when needed.

Channel drains are a type of surface drain that is installed across areas like a driveway, sidewalk or patio to help collect runoff water or water that tends to pool in a low area of the surface. They can also be installed to help collect runoff from tennis courts and parking lots. The type of traffic (whether foot or vehicle traffic) determines the type of materials that will need to be used. The amount of water being collected by the system will help determine the drain size and width of bar grating needed to help keep up with the flow.
