A lot of times builders and drainage contractors will use thin corrugated pipe materials to do drainage installs. This is considered to be a short term style solution that will eventually fail. The pipes are known to collapse and clog easily. The most common reason for corrugated pipe system failue is clogging from roots or debris build up over time. Once a corrugated system has clogged in most cases it cannot be cleared. If the system cannot be cleared it will need to be replaced.
